Now we all need to also welcome our fabby GDT for July, Lindsey, has she has agreed to become a fully fledged DT peeps, so please offically welcome her aboard.


We are having a little holiday this week so that our new members can familiarise themselves with all things that are "Fab'n'Funky" so we will be back with a new challenge on Wednesday 7th July and look forward to seeing everybody then.

Hi everyone and apologies for the delay in getting this week challenge up and running. Also a mega Big WOW to all the entries last week . . . there are many proud Dads / Grandads / Father-in-laws out there with the wonderful selection of cards made.

Challenge #29

will be slightly delayed as I (Lou) am slightly distracted at the moment ! My baby sister (!) has just had her 2nd baby and a good friends husband was unfortunately run over, so things have been a bit hectic.

The challenge will be showing on THURSDAY and apologies for any delay.

Hi everyone,

We decided to do a separate post about the DT position(s) for Fab'n'Funky Challenges as we felt things maybe a little confusing when we crammed the information in our challenge post.

Ok where to begin . . . we are a small, friendly DT who democratically choose everything about the weekly challenges together. Previous DT experience is not necessary so please do feel that you cannot apply without this experience.

New challenges are posted every Wednesday morning and you will be required to post your completed project by the previous Tuesday night (at the latest). Most weeks the challenge blog has been generously sponsored by different companies and on occasion, we are issued with items from said companies to use in our own projects for that relevant week.

If you are interested in becoming one of our "Fab'n'Funky" family, please leave a link to your blog in the comments section, so that we can come and have a good nose . . . hee, hee, hee! Now that the sun has been shining in the UK for a while, we have got into the summer vibe here at "Fab'n'Funky" and have decided that this week challenge will have a summer theme! Before we begin with this weeks challenge, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us last week . . . we thoroughly enjoyed sharing all your gorgeous "eye candy".

Challenge #26 - "Piece that paper!"

Another week whizzes by and in the UK, it's Whitsun half term which normally means poor weather as the children are on their hols . . . however the sun has finally decided to come out to play and it looks like we could be in for better weather this end of the week! Fingers crossed !

"Piece that paper"

which translated means "paper piecing", (well do try and "DO" posh here every now and then!) The DT have each used a Softpencil digi image which they have paper pieced but you could use a stamped image or another digi image. If you use a Softpencil image in your project this week, we will enter you twice into this weeks randomly chosen draw to win some more digi images from Elizabeth.
