Challenge #102 - "Something NEW" plus a BLOG HOP . . .

Now to start the New Year with fireworks and a loud bang, we have decided to have a blog hop as we thought it would be nice to have some fun now that the Christmas and New Year festivities are over and shake away any pending winter blues! ! ! ! There will still be a challenge too and all will be explained in this post.

Now this week we have 2 things happening . . . a BLOG HOP and our normal WEEKLY CHALLENGE.

BLOG HOP DETAILS: We have lots of great prizes this week (for the Blog Hop) from a generous selection of sponsors and separate prizes for the weekly challenge. Here are the BLOG HOP prizes:

A £10 voucher from:

A £5 voucher from:

A "Double Sprinkle of Kraft" CD from:

A £5 voucher from:

A selection of "Get in Shape Templates"

Each of our sponsors have loads of yummy goodies on offer, so why not take a nose and see if you fancy anything and who knows, they might even have a January Sale on too! Us crafters do love a bargain!

To win one of these prizes, please pop over to each of the DT blogs and collect all the numbers shown on their blogs. Once you have all the numbers, you will need to add them up and leave the total in the comments section. (comment moderation is on to hide all answers). We thought we'd do numbers for a change rather than letters, just to add to the fun and also to exercise our grey cells . . . did you guess who the teacher is amongst the DT and came up with this plan . . . Lou !?!?!?

The blog order is as follows just in case you get lost:

Start here at the Challenge Blog and the number you need from here is 1 (one) and then move onto:

and finally back to Challenge Blog and leave your answer in the comments section below.

The CHALLENGE THEME this week is called . . .

"Something New"

and we want you to use a new crafting item/download etc that you received over the Christmas and/or New Year on your project. Now before you panic and think "I didn't get anything crafty as a present", there are other things you could do . . . eg: spray your flower embellishments with a quick blast of your new perfume; use the spare button from that new piece of clothing you received; use a photo from that new camera you received on your project . . . so you see, you can join in with us with some lateral thinking ! The DT have lots of new things to share with you, so pop over to their blogs and check out their projects, also whilst you are there, join in with our BLOG HOP.

There is 2 (two) separate prizes for the joining in with the challenge this week and the prize being offered is . . .

a selection of toppers and Flower Soft

Don't forget we want you to use "Something New" in your project and it can be linked as always using Mr Linky at the bottom of this post.

Also, we are still waiting to hear from previous winners from our candy draws, so please check posts below to see if you are a lucky winner. If there is no contact by Friday 6th January 2012, we will redraw the winners and post them in next weeks challenge post.

Have a great week everyone and happy hopping,

The Fab 'n' Funky DT

Challenges #88 - "Go mad with embossing"

Lots of announcements this week so please do take a seat . . . !

Firstly we must say a goodbye to Pam who leaves the DT this week and we wish her all the very best in her future crafting endeavours. We will miss her projects greatly.

Secondly, we have to say goodbye to our fab and talented GDT for August, Leesa. It has been a real pleasure to have you join in with us this month and we look forward to working with you again in the very near future. Please put your hands together and give Leesa a huge applause for all her hard work this month.

Thirdly, we have a new GDT for September and that is Debs, so hands together everyone to give her a warm welcome to Fab'n'Funky Challenges.

Fourthly . . . we have a slight change to the Fab'n'Funky format !!! Yep, after much debate we are now going to pick our Top 3 from the previous weeks entrants and there is a new badge in the side bar waiting for the lucky winners. We will still use Random.Org to pick the winner of the Challenge prize (offered by our generous sponsors) so that everyone gets the chance to win any goodies on offer.

Finally . . . we need to use Random.Org to pick last weeks challenge winner and the lucky person is . . .

Challenge #20 - "Get it all Out" !

WOW what a real blast last week was and it was great to see that we are all guilty of having neglected stamps tucked away in drawers. We hope the challenge made you find other hidden treasures that you can use on your future projects.

As always, Mrs Random.Org has chosen the lucky winner and this week it is . . .

Joyce from Peach Crate

Please can you email Elizabeth from Soft Pencil to claim your prize putting "Fab 'n' Funky" challenge winner in the subject line.

This week we have anew sponsor to the challenge blog and we were pleased when Nikky from Polka Doodles agreed to sponsor this weeks challenge.

The lucky winner of this weeks challenge will receive the wonderful "Love & Cherish" CD which is jam packed and incredibly versatile.

Now to win this fab prize, you need to know what this weeks challenge is . . .

"Get it all out"

. . . well it was brilliant that we all dusted off an old stamp(s), so we thought it only fair that we all now dust off our neglected stash. This could be a paper pack; 12"x12" papers we bought but they were too good to cut (!); embellishments that are still in their packets . . you name it . . we all have that guilty stash secret and to start you off, the DT are going to share their guilty secret(s) with you ! !

Lydia
Lou

Ginny

Andrea

So what will you discover when you look through your neglected stash? We can't wait to find out!
